Hi, to all new and current leos members...

Below will be some upcoming activities which we need to confirm the names asap. Hope u all can take a look and feedback. Interested members can sms me at 94370339(Andrew) to confirm.

Leo Forum
- Find bus to Penang

Poly Forum
- Venue: Star Cruise
- Date: 12 to 14 September
- 5 person needed for interview (To be give by Monday (23/04/07))

LTC Camp
- President/ Vice President (if cannot then pass down position by position)
- Need 2 confirm names/3 reserved names
- First Trip Date: 18th June to 23rd June 07 (Only for those who has go LTC Before)
- Second Trip Date: 5th September to 10th September 07.
- People going to Poly Forum cannot go for this.
- Names to be given on Monday(23/04/07)

OCS Project (Cambodia)
- Date: 26th August to 8th September 07
- 5person needed
- Names by 1st week of May
- Cost
o Total = $13 220
o $2900 per person before subsides
o 30% of $2900 from students - $870 (Before Fund Raising)
o 14 days oversea projects

Build For Hopes
- Venue: Vivo City
- Date: 8th June to 10th June 07
- 5 to 10 people needed to form a team

- Break the Guinness Book of World Record by building the world's largest packaged product (tetra-brik) display house (house made up of Marigold tetra-briks)

Clementi Service Centre Fund Raising
- Find sponsor to sponsor us lots of tiles
- Ask people to donate money to get a tiles and decorate it with paints
- Find paints that won’t drop off the tiles
- Measure the wall at the CSCC there and find the numbers of tiles able to fix into it
- MP Lee will be visiting there on the 21st Oct 07 so leave a tiles for him to decorate and place it there
- Target to sell a tiles at $5 or more

Listed below are the activities that we will be embarking on. I urged every member to at least go for an activity. The activties are according to dates and it would be spread throughout the year. More activities would be coming up.... One more thing to add is that every member is required to take up a Heart Foundation Donation Booklet. So, pls sms me and tell me when you are free to meet me to take the booklets. Thanks...

~February~
9th - Jurong East Interchange, Pizza Treat,
Time:6.30pm
Venue: control station
People Involved: KahSeng, Cheryl, Jia Juan, Ruth, Winnie, Jenny, Shin Tyan, Horng Ling, Clinton, Yvonne, Wilson, Cathleen, Zheng Wei, Mung, Calvin and the current BOD.

14th - 16th First Aid Course
Time: 8am - 5.30pm
Venue: TBA
People Involved: Patsy(in-charge), Yi Ling, Yi Jin, Sui Pheng

17th - Loving Family Flag Day
Time: 9am - 12pm
Venue: Somerset

14th - SACS Flag Day

30th - 1st of April Leo Star Camp
Venue: Johor Bahru Southern College
Details: It would be a 3 day 2 night camp organised by the malaysian Leo Club. It would be a great exposure for members to interact with other Leo Clubs not only in Singapore but also Malaysian Leo Clubs. The camp fee would be RM 130. Interested parties can contact me (Patsy) at 91394081 and I can give you the full details. Deadline for this camp would be 10th of Feb 2007.

~June~
1st - 5th Leo Forum and Overseas Project with Leo Club of Tanjung Penang
Venue: Penang
Details: 1st to 3rd of June will be the Leo Forum and for 4th and 5th of June, it will be an orphanage visit with Leo CLub of Tanjung Penang. We will bring over souviners like storybooks and board games and etc. Over there, we will teach the kids the various board games. Interested Parties pls call me at 913940841 and I can give you the full details. Deadline for this camp would be end of Mar. Leave of Absence will be given to participants.

~Extra Project~

Our club would be joining YMCA in some of their activities.

Y outing:
Members who are involved will be in the main committee planning activities for
APSN – CFA (Association for Persons with Special Needs - Centre for Adults).
Time: 9am – 1pm
Dates: 31 Mar, 28 Apr, 28 Jul, 29 Sept, 27 Oct, 17 Nov (6 Visits)
People Involved: Patsy (in-charge), Wilson and Yvonne. I got 3 more places. Members who are interested pls call me...

Y camp challenge:
Y Camp Challenge is a large scale bi annual camp that brings together intellectually challenged beneficiaries from all our partnering VWOs. During this 3D/2N camp, outdoor adventure, camp craft, telematches and a host of other enrichment activities are incorporated, to challenge the preconceived limits and boundaries of our special friends.
Dates: 28 Jun – 1 Jul & 13 Dec – 16 Dec (2 camps)
Ppl Involved: Places are open.. We want to get as many volunteers as possible.
